About Me.
I am a Native Washingtonian and proud HBCU grad. I lived through the crack war in DC in the late 1980s and 90s so very little scares me. I am passionate about journalism that is impactful and leads to change. I enjoy writing and research more than editing if I'm being honest.
I have a niche for writing feature stories and profiles. But with my curious nature I am moving into more investigative reporting. I have spent the better part of ten years creating a network that supports me so when it's time for me to get to work I don't have to look far for help. EDUCATION
